About Our School

Our Main Objectives

The most sought-after achievement of all basic educational institutions is producing learners who excel in all fields of academia.  New World school boasts of producing thousands of students since her inception in the year 1992 till date. These products have since gone on to become great men and women in their careers and have helped to make our beloved nation a better one.

Our zeal for achieving the best in all we do is powered by the wonderful work done by the men and women (directors, headteachers and teachers) who have dedicated their lives to achieve this goal. Our community is a better one due to the impact New World school has made on her young men and women.

All the academic excellence we boast of wouldn’t have been achievable without the organisation of certain teacher-learner activities in the school. The school has sought to build and improve upon the talents of her students over the years.

A lot of physical activities have been organised by the school which have gone a long way to help improve upon the intellectual capacity of her products.

Extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural display, drama, speech and prize-giving, open day celebration and others have been observed here from time to time. These activities by observation, have helped to build discipline, perseverance and resilience in our students.

Incorporating sports, arts and hands-on activities into the school’s curriculum have not only helped to develop motor skills of our learners but have also fostered teamwork, time management and goal-setting. Similarly, the students’ involvement in creative arts and design has honed their ability to think outside the box and appreciate diverse perspectives.

Leadership training programs and other workshops have been organised for our learners over the years to help our students focus on body language, public speaking and other physical aspects of communication. These we believe, are the keys to helping shape our soon-to-be future leaders to become who they were borne to be.

Developing the emotions, attitudes, values and interpersonal skills are fundamental to empathetic and ethical leadership. Here at New World school, we don’t only train our students to become masters in academia but we also focus on building on their morals, discipline and empathy. These have helped us to develop a well-balanced alumnus who possess the necessary skills to adapt and integrate into any environment of choice.

Fostering affective development begins with cultivating emotional intelligence. This involves teaching young individuals how to recognize and regulate their emotions, understand the feelings of others and respond empathetically. For instance, classroom activities like role-playing, group discussions and conflict resolution exercises have helped to enhance emotional and social awareness. We have well-trained personnel who are dedicated to ensuring that these interpersonal skills are fostered and well-developed in all our students.
